Just returned from a tasty experience at the Gristmill Bakery/Deli in North Auburn on Combie Road. Enjoyed savory split-pea soup with yummy ham/cheese quiche. Husband Jack enjoyed a fried egg sandwich with healthy vegetable soup. We're prolonging the experience--took home soups and meatloaf for dinner. "Does it get any better than this" asked Husband Jack when we walked in to the Gristmill 20 minutes after placing our call-in order: Jack's breakfast complete with eggs/toast/taters waiting for us. Co-owner Kim The Bomb alerts customers to allow extra time for call-in orders because the busy season is here and the G/M caters and whips up specialty cakes. Yes, I guess the season is upon us so be ready.
I'm glad I decided to read this. I am always looking for new places to eat in our area THANKS!! My daughter and I will be taking a drive over to Combie Rd. today to try Gritsmil
