I just stumbled on an article written by a local, Gary Moffat, that is a "must read" for anyone interested in outdoor activities in Auburn, the "Endurance Capital of the World." Gary is an excellent writer, full of humor and he knows how to keep you thirsting for more.

Gary is a very good writer. Controversial, entertaining, insightful, and at times humorous. If you ever run into him, you can tell him he is welcome to write for the AuburnBuzz!

Thank you on two counts for providing a link to Gary Moffat's "Only in Auburn" column. 1) Thanks for reminding me that I have always wanted to try Carpe Vino. Some friends invited us for a Valentine's Day dinner a few years back and we couldn't make it, but I've wanted to go there ever since. A good excuse to get a babysitter! 2) Thanks for validating, once again, the need for The Auburn Buzz which provides a venue for a spirited writer like Gary to make his view and opinions known (not that he hasn't already). I read several of his postings and was indeed thirsting for more. I love it when someone just tells it like it is without a lot of fluff (okay, maybe a little fluff).

I was looking through the Auburn Art Walk brochure and noticed that Carpe Vino will be featuring the work of a local artist, Ginny Lou Daley during the Art Walk tomorrow night. It might be the perfect time to get a sitter and promote "The Buzz."

You and I must be on the same wavelength! I was just telling Craig the Auburn Art Walk would be a great way to meet other business owners and promote the Buzz. Unfortunately, my 4 mth. old is not quite ready to be away from mom yet, but I am working on it! Craig will probably be flying solo this time around, but I hope to be able to join him next time. It's been awhile since I had an adult evening
