Owning a restaurant has to be one of the biggest challenges and I appreciate how much hard work, effort and money goes into the restaurant ownership, especially when the restaurant is overwhelmingly large as is the Downtown Auburn Grille. And so I take my hat (visor) off to owner Kim, who was working the tables beautifully last Saturday as she sweated out the lack of help. Husband Jack and I very much enjoyed the simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast and fruit and took pleasure in the space around us and the open windows, a straight shot to the colorful streets. We shall return and wish Kim success through the Holiday season.
