There are a lot of good trails around the auburn area. Not sure what level your at, so I'm going to assume your about intermediate level, such as myself. I really enjoy the ForestHill Devide Loop. I think this trail is pretty strenuous, but extremely fun! When I can ride the entire loop without much strain. I know I am in good riding shape. When I haven't ridden for a while, and out of shape, I like to ride the Pioneer Trail outside Nevada City. This trail is good to get back into the rhythm of riding again. During the hot summer days, I usually head up to Tahoe. I like the Pioneer trail and Paige Meadows area. All these trails can be found at mtbr.com. I'm guessing you have checked out mtbr.com, but if not do it now. That site is awesome. Check out mtbsingletrack.com also. This site has a ton of local trails. And while your at it, please check out
