Saturday, December 1, 2007 One annual tradition that Auburn residents do not let slip by quietly is the Festival of Lights Parade. Last year more than 100 entrants brought floats, carriages, or just themselves to the parade usually held on the first Saturday in the month of December. Parade applicants will travel from Lincoln way and Cherry Avenue through downtown Auburn. "This is the Auburn version of the Disneyland electric parade," said Alabama resident Steve Gobble. Parade begins at 5:30p.m. For information call the Auburn Chamber at (530) 885-5616.
