Alta Vista School, located in the heart of Auburn, will be celebrating its 100^th anniversary on Saturday, May 3, 2008 until 6:00pm on Alta Vista grounds.The celebration will include local food vendors, entertainment and some special presentations at a centennial ceremony to be held that day. In light of the fact that this will be Alta Vista's last year as an operational elementarty school (after a recent decision by the school board to close the campus ), we would like to make this celebration really special. We would like to have as many Alta Vista alumni and staff as possible attend our celebration.
