Join Vic Maris as he takes us on a tour of the universe, including ancient star legends, the beginning of space and time, tips for navigating the night sky, and the relative motions of the stars and planets. In this one hour presentation you may even enjoy a visit from Galileo himself! Suitable for adults and kids 5 and up.

About the speaker: Vic Maris was a park ranger and naturalist for over 30 years. He currently owns Stellarvue Telescopes, based in Auburn, CA, which designs and builds research-grade astronomical products.

Also on display in the Beecher room will be a collection of Bob Fera's latest astrophotos. Bob will be on hand to answer questions after Vic's presentation.
