As
electronics retailers begin their advertising blitzes for new
televisions in time for the height of football season, many people will
be looking for ways to properly dispose of their old televisions and
other electronic items. The City of Roseville’s Environmental
Utilities Department, in partnership with Sims Recycling Solutions, is
offering a free electronics waste collection event on Sat., February 9,
from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at Sims Recycling Solutions located at 8855
Washington Blvd, Roseville.
Televisions, along with most
electronic items will be accepted at no charge. Additionally,
Encapsulated Polystyrene (EPS) packing foam and cardboard will also be
accepted at the event.
Additional information on this event can be found by going to www.roseville.ca.us/eu or by calling (916) 774-5780.
