This class will explore making a felted fabric with natural fibers including wool, mohair, silk and angora. You will learn to felt these fibers into a base of silk gauze, silk ribbon, net and other woven fabrics cut into strips. We will use yarn, thread, beads and lots of other things to add texture and color. It's like painting using hand dyed silk fibers and roving with lots of extras added for texture.
