Once a month in the Auburn Library's Beecher Room, celebrate the golden
age of the silver screen.
Romance and adventure, comedy and dance, mystery and music --it's
another year of classics from Silver Screen! These movies resonate with
great stories and great actors, such as Katharine Hepburn and Bette
Davis, Laurence Olivier and Spencer Tracy -- and great directors, such
as Alfred Hitchcock and George Stevens.
After 50, 60, even 80 years, these movies continue to amaze, delight,
and entertain. The stars continue to gleam in the dark on the silver
screen.
Join us as we continue to honor an age long gone but fondly remembered.
