:D I watched a movie last night that I fell into because I was captivated by the acting skills of Edward Norton; but soon, I was covering the screen to protect those terrible images from integrating into my world and yet I chose to continue with the film, "editing" out the blood and gore because the quality of the acting offset the negative and I wonder about the fate of those actors who choose to immerse themselves in the profanity and gore; but then we all makes choices. Thanks to all who contributed to this on-going subject because as my therapist once said "we can't take the life out of life" and when we CHOOSE (that word again) to live in a free society, we must choose how we will navigate through the sometimes murky, fetid waters and cleanse ourselves with the clear, clean, pure waters that still remain in this enviromentaly challenged world; but then that's another subject.
Well said! I see sad faces of those who are left behind(the families of victims and those who are prosecuted) Readers do not realize the amount of destruction that is left for families and friends to deal with and to pick up the pieces.

Even more disheartening than a person out of control is the, shall we say, bonus they receive -- getting work because of it. An actor friend once told me no matter how long it had been for work, if they were to indulge in a few drinks, go out and wrap a car around a tree, guaranteed they'd get 4 offers by the next day due to the attention they received. Literally rewarding them for their problem and negative actions. That is wrong in so many different ways.

Integrity still exists; it remains important to many. Thank you for upholding it. Onward, indeed. :) - Deb G.

Very tired of watching violence on television and about celebrities being out of control. Yes your program focuses on the lighter side of life. It is very refreshing to listen to your program.
