Did not know that Paco's wings were clipped and yes he is a joy. Hope the cats have come to accept him as part of the family. It sure does seem that way.

Two weeks until I am back in Auburn. I've already started packing :) - mediamaven

:)Just saw a chuck of The Yearling with Gregory Peck and what a fine man he was--great actor--; and although it pained me to see the end of the little yearling, I understand that sometimes it is impossible to combine the wild with the domesticated and that is why I'm always fretting about Paco my miniature parrot because I know he should have more time free from his cage and even though we have two cats, I protect Paco from their interference even though I believe the cats have come to accept Paco as part of the fam I can never be certain that their like for Paco may be too much. Paco's wings are clipped so he cannot fly; but he seems to be a healthy boy and his cage is in the kitchen next to the bay window and I have my computer next to his cage so there is much interreaction because I believe in being a good pet parent and why not because I believe we are entrusted with the care of our pets and they will thrive when we care for them accordingly. Paco is a joy. :) - Loyce

I like Westerns and war films because men made decisions, dressed in a defined manner and stood on their own feet, all in contrast to the world of today; so other favorites include: The Gallant Hours with Jimmy Cagney; In Harm's Way with John Wayne; Gunfight at the OK Corral. Did I say that I enjoy looking at attractive people who speak in a forthright manner? I dislike fluff, superficial and disauthentic, dishonest elements; so I search constantly for that which is closest to authentic. The challenge is mine. Onward :o ;) - Loyce

Gunfighter have not even seen it before. Gregory Peck was in To Kill A Mockingbird as well.

Looks like another movie will be added to my list.
