RENEWED ENERGIES AT HEALING LIGHT,  Saturday, 06 October 2007 I have experienced Reiki therapy from Phyllis Ingmire and presently see owner Donna Arz for my bi-monthly energy charge. I always feel charged with energy and lighter in my walk after I've seen Donna.

 EASY ACCESS,  Friday, 05 October 2007 My husband Jack and I have eaten breakfast at Pappy's and have no complaints about the food; although on occasion we've had to wait longer than we expected. Husband Jack has patronized Pappy's for lunch/breakfast for over a decade and sometimes seats himself at the counter. Pappy's is easy to access when heading toward town and there's always plenty of parking.

 DOWNTOWN DELIGHT,  Friday, 05 October 2007 Owners Jim and Trish Bril do a good job here with delightful menu items, a professionally trained staff and an inviting, artsy decor. I've always enjoyed my dining experience here, especially the fish tacos and the zesty pasta with red sauce. Desserts like key-lime pie put me over the edge; but I'll do it again. Here I come.

 DOWNTOWN JAVA,  Friday, 05 October 2007 Coffee is fine here and you can people-watch at the window-tables. Parking is just fine.

 COLORFUL COFFEE MAVEN,  Friday, 05 October 2007 OK: So I LOVE colorful characters and owner Linda Lareau is forever on her stage and the coffee is fine and the light soups, sandwiches and pastries are dandy. Just glancing through the window at the Auburn Court House tweaks my bliss-meter. I meet other colorful, interesting peeps at this coffee mecca and can't imagine Old Town without vivacious Lareau. If "All the world's a stage", Linda stars in her own theatre.

 AWFUL GOOD IN OLD TOWN,  Friday, 05 October 2007 Out on the deck is heavenly because the view is splendid. The food is always good and the service people are well-trained. I've enjoyed lunches/breakfasts here and love the variety in drinks and menu items.

 CHINESE FIX,  Friday, 05 October 2007 Chinese Fix can be satisfied at this casual eatery and Husband Jack and I have our needs met nicely when we have dined in or taken out.

 ZESTY IN AUBURN,  Friday, 05 October 2007 Maria is one of the hardest working restaurant owners in Auburn and it shows because the food here is always consistently outrageous. Maria has command of the spice department and provides authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. I must hurry over.

 STAYING THE COURSE AT BLACK OAK,  Friday, 05 October 2007 This is a challenging nine-hole course and Norm does a great job in overseeing the greens because they always look great. I always enjoy my experience here, whether playing, practicing, shopping or enjoying a bite.
