JEERS to whomever decided to place the newspaper recycle bins that have difficult slot access at the Nevada Street site. The slots are too high for shorter people and we cannot reach them. We have to leave our bags on the ground. Recycling should be encouraged, not discouraged. – M.C.

CHEERS to Placer Theatre Ballet for its 10th Anniversary production of the Nutcracker! Polished and professional, fresh and charming, it was a great treat for both me and my 9-year-old grandson. If you missed it, be sure to watch it next year! – M.R.
