E.V. Cain Middle School is located near Highway 49 in Auburn. The school was constructed in 1949 but underwent extensive remodeling from 1996 to 2001 when facilities for P.E., science, music, and art were completed. E.V. Cain enjoys a reputation as having a strong academic and elective program and is proud of its many successes: Counseling program, Positive Recognition Program, athletics, Power Hour – After School Tutoring (in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club) and drama productions.
