State Theater Marquee

About 300 persons gathered outside Auburn’s State Theater on Friday night to watch the recently installed marquee’s first official lighting. An inflatable King Kong oversaw the festivities.

The State Theater marquee was lit at 9:30 p.m.

Placer-Tahoe Film Office chief Beverly Lewis gave her best Marilyn Monroe impression during the Auburn State Theater Marquee Lighting Party last Friday.
