Finally Auburn has a restaurant that is worth going to every night to eat if you can afford that ritual. The menu is very appealing with many things to choose from. We ordered the nochos and got a huge plate of chips, cheese, onions, pulled pork and bbq sauce dribbled all over it. Kids gobbled it down. Delicious! Had their oakfire steak - was cooked to perfection and enjoyed the sweet potato fries. Wife had the rib/chicken plate with the garlic mashed potato. Ribs were very meaty and good (of course I had to try a few) the chicken was moist and great (told it was beer can chicken cooked in the smoker). Prices were + or - $10 bucks. Very reasonable. Kids got free dessert. Wife and I shared the carrot cake. Killer! Told they will have a full bar opening soon next store with live music. We're coming back this weekend with friends. Thanks for opening Oakfire in Auburn - we needed a good family restaurant.

We have a family of 8. Generally go out to Denny's for value, not taste. We had went to the carwash nextdoor and saw Oakfire, looked expensive. I walked over to see the menu and found the prices very resonable. We had dinner and walked out feeding everyone for less then $100.00
On top of it, free desserts for the 6 kids. For us a win-win. The food was great. We ordered the kids meals and the puled pork and Steak sand's, both really good with the sides was a great deal. We are in love with Oakfire and it fits our budget. Only one thing was the front room was a bit loud with the TV's and talked. But it was a Friday night and crowed. Guess we are use to Denny's. LOL. But the room really needs some type of sound proofing. We will live with it. Thanks OAKFIRE.

I think this place is awesome, they serve real-style barbeque, the kind you usually can't get west of kansas city. You just can't get barbeque like this around here at any other place

To the management: You need more staff during opening months. The potential for a good restaurant is there but we saw two tables leave on a tuesday night and no one even noticed. Service was way too slow though the staff seemed to be trying their hardest. Help out the staff and give them more people or better training. The music was too loud on the patio over our table - perhaps if you point the speakers toward the ceiling it may help...or just turn it down. Again, the potential is there but you better make your first impression good or you will be in trouble. Good luck.
