JEERS to the Placer County Board Supervisors for holding meetings when the average working citizen has no way to conveniently attend and express their thoughts.  CHEERS to the agencies that hold meetings in the evening. – S.R.H. CHEERS to those responsible for removing two dead animals from the edge of Auburn Folsom Road within Auburn City limits on a Saturday. – D.S. CHEERS to whomever shut off the “55-wrong-times-a-day clock tower” in Downtown Auburn.  Hopefully, it is off until it can be completely repaired. The silence is golden. – S.P.D.
