Owners Jim and Trish Bril do a good job here with delightful menu items, a professionally trained staff and an inviting, artsy decor. I've always enjoyed my dining experience here, especially the fish tacos and the zesty pasta with red sauce. Desserts like key-lime pie put me over the edge; but I'll do it again. Here I come.
This is a great place for a business lunch. Make sure you eat on the patio when the weather isn't too hot. The atmosphere inside is definitely upscale (perfect place for a date)while the atmosphere on the patio is comfortable with a tropical like setting. Dinners here might be spendy but lunches are moderately priced.
I had the BBQ Pork sandwich which had onion rings inside and a side of fries. The portion was enough to satisfy but not to the point of being overfilled.
Our waitress was pleasant, courteous, and appeared at our table at all of the right times.
Love love love Monkey Cat. We work in Downtown Auburn and frequent it for lunch and sometimes even for work meetings. Love to get taken there for dinner too, or start a girls night out in the Palapa bar! the food and service can't be beat!
