The Boys & Girls Club of Auburn provides core programs that engage young people aged 6-18 in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. Some programs include:
Power Hour - an educational enhancement program that helps Club members be more successful in school by providing homework help and tutoring.
Keystone Club - a leadership and service program designed to promote leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise, and social recreation for high school students.
Youth of the Year - a youth recognition program that promotes Club member's service to the Club, community and family, academic performance, life goals, poise and public speaking ability.
Smart Moves - a skills mastery and prevention program that helps young people resist alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and increases participants peer support, enhancing life skills and strengthens their resiliency.
Character & Leadership - Programs in this Core Program Area help youths become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process.
Education & Career Development - Programs in this Core Program Area enable youths to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career.
Health & Life Skills - Programs in this Core Program Area develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.
The Arts - Programs in this Core Program Area enable youths to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.
Sports, Fitness & Recreation - Programs in this Core Program Area develop athletic appreciation, fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social skills.
