Creative Kids was selected as “Child Care Provider of the Week” for the Sacramento Region by the national PBS early childhood educational TV series “A Place of Our Own”. The documentary aired nationally May 16, 2008.

Creative Kids Preschool and Child Care provide a warm, caring, balanced environment, where fun, laughter and song are blended with active, exciting and creative learning. We pride ourselves in establishing the positive initial school experience that a child will carry throughout his or her life. Our main goal is to support and assist each child in their developing a positive self-image. To accomplish this, each child is treated with love, encouragement, acceptance, and respect for his or her individuality.

Creative Kids feels learning should be pressure free and fun to do. We believe this type of instruction creates excitement and interest in the child to learn, as well as initiating a positive attitude towards school. The Preschool’s environment is set up to enhance a child’s fullest learning potential through the exploration of different themes, literature, art, science, math and music in teacher/student directed, one on one, and group activities. With each child having his or her own individual needs and interests, Creative Kids strives to fulfill these by teaching each child at his or her own developmental maturity level. Having numerous daily hands-on learning activities, we emphasis the experience rather than the final product.

Furthermore, Creative Kids believes that creative play is one of the most effective ways for children to learn about themselves and their ever-changing world.

Located in Meadow Vista, CA Serving Meadow Vista, Applegate, Weimar, Clipper Gap, Christian Valley, Colfax, Bowman, Auburn, and Surrounding Communities!

* Half-Day Program includes Preschool - 8:15 am to 1:15 pm (5 hours):: 3-Day Mon/Wed/Fri :: 2-Day Tues/Thurs :: 5-Day Mon thru Fri.

* Full-Day Child Care Program includes Preschool - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.(11 hours):: 3-Day Mon/Wed/Fri :: 2-Day Tues/Thurs :: 5-Day Mon thru Fri.

* Before & After-School Child Care (Placer Hills Union School District Only) includes homework assistance - School Dismissal to 6:00 pm

From one professional to another, great place for children. Pat and Jeanette are dedicated to the children in thier care!
