I've been to the lunch buffet a couple of times now, and the food is outstanding. I have never had rice as soft and fluffy as what they have in their chaffing dish! The curries are very good, with a nice selection and the vegetables are delicious. A really good value for some really good food. I can't wait to order off the menu.

Great food in Auburn, Wednesday, 05 September 2007
I keep forgetting to visit this wonderful resource for ethnic cuisine in Auburn, Ca. According to a friend who spent time in Nepal, their "Panaak Paneer" is the best he's ever tried. Unfortunately, that dish is not always on the lunch buffet menu.
My wife's favorite is the lamb curry. Their basmati rice is incredible. What a great deal, two people can travel 1/2 way around the world and eat authentic Nepalese and Indian food (as much as they can consume) for less than $20.
Note: the reason I say not "Kid Friendly" is because OUR kid does not like anything containing curry spices. I think it would be fine if YOUR kid is open minded about spicy cuisines!!!
A terrific dining experience. If you have a hankering for something Nepalese while in Davis or Sacramento, you will find stores there as well. Info on all three are on the website.
The lunch buffet may well be the best bargain in Auburn!
