JEERS to the owner of the property at the corner of Haines and Dry Creek Rd that has dumped an uncountable number of old cars right next to Dry Creek. There must be a hundred and I can’t imagine that something isn’t leaking into the creek. It is also an eyesore for all the neighbors. JEERS to the county for not investigating and forcing some type of cleanup. – B.J.M.
CHEERS to Therese Pope for her letter to the editor regarding Gary Moffat’s column. I wanted to cheer for someone finally standing up to his negative, snobbish ways. Move back to wherever you came from Gary. We enjoy positive and real people in our community. – B.B.
JEERS to the letter writer who complained about Gary Moffat’s column.
Frankly, I laughed my head off at the column and think the guy is a
terrific writer. – M.H.
JEERS to the person responsible for stopping the UPS trucks from
parking in the mostly empty lot located near the Auburn Library. They
would take our packages, with a smile, and they provided a great
service to the local businesses. – M.B.
JEERS to the column written by Gary Moffat. We don’t need this type of
negativism in our wonderful community or this great newspaper! – H.W.
JEERS to the merchants by the clock tower for their garish, illegal
signs on their building and their even more garish van parked in front
of their business. And, JEERS to the City of Auburn for allowing the
garish signs and van to remain. – K.G.
JEERS to the staff at Auburn Recreation District and the board that
allows them to continue to operate the Canyon View Community Center
without any regard for the neighborhood that surrounds the center. The
loud parties and over-booking needs to be addressed. – P.W.
CHEERS to Maria Scoggins of Belle Beauty Supply. Her expertise with
hair care, related problems and her concern for people is a winning
combination. She restored my hair to health. – S.F.
