Auburn Home Show is this weekend
The fall Auburn Home Show will be held Friday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 30 at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. Featuring more than 1,000 exhibits, the Home Show costs $6 for general admission and $1 for children under 12. Children 5 and under are free. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 530-887-3616 or visit www.auburnhomeshows.com.
Wagons roll into Bernhard Museum
On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Vintage Wagon Jubilee will be held at the
Bernhard Museum in Auburn. The Native Sons of the Golden West will have
their wagons on display from 9 a.m. to noon in the museum parking lot.
Learn the history behind each wagon and how each one was carefully
restored. Bring your camera and have your picture taken in the driver’s
seat. This program is free, but parking in the fairgrounds lot will
cost $4 because of the Home Show. For more information, call

Lincoln Showcase is this Saturday
Tickets are on sale now for the Lincoln Showcase, featuring the band
Mercy Me!, to be held Saturday, Sept. 29, from 5:30 to 10 p.m., at the
Beermann Plaza in Lincoln. Ticket price is $40 per person and attendees
must be 21 or older. Call 916-645-2035 for tickets or visit the Lincoln

Colfax celebrates founders on Saturday
“Railroad Days: A Founder’s Day Celebration” will be held in historic
downtown Colfax on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event
will feature family friendly activities, games, living history
demonstrations, live music, business showcase, contests and more. For

Grange Hall plaque to be dedicated
Placer County Historical Society will hold a Plaque Dedication at Mt.
Vernon Grange Hall, 2185 Bell Road, in Auburn, at 2 p.m. on Saturday,
Sept. 29. The public is welcome and there is no admission charge.
