In Auburn, in the heart of California’s famous Gold Country, you’ll find The Ridge Golf Club and Events Center with a golf course designed by the incomparable Robert Trent Jones Jr. In this rugged country once traveled by miners who joined the Gold Rush, we offer golfers a classic layout that is rich with challenges and just plain fun.
Hundreds of stately blue oaks spread their ancient boughs over our fairways giving them the look of a mature course. Yet this is a modern design created by one of golfing’s master architects. Our 18 holes ramble across a stunning site, filled with knolls and hillsides, rock outcroppings, sparkling creeks and those beautiful trees.
The LPGA liked our course so much that we were chosen to be the site for the Longs Drugs Challenge, an event held here each fall. We know that you’re going to love The Ridge as well. Once you’ve played a round here, you’re going to want to return again and again.
I love the salads and savory soups at The Ridge and I also enjoy the well-presented breakfasts and just today was served up the blueberry and lemon stuffed pancakes. Eat inside next to the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace or if the sun is shining, find outself out on the spacious deck for the ultimate experience. And then there's the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf course, attended to by the capable Super Steve Fackler and the geese-chasing Chocolate Lab Velvet. Be still my heart.

The Ridge Golf Course & Grill, Monday, 01 October 2007
The Ridge is a beautiful course! Have played there more than once with Loyce. The trees, beauty, peacefulness is wonderful. Favorite hole is the ninth with the water.
Been to the Grill too! Excellent Food. Took mom, sister, friend one Friday afternoon. Had their Pastrami Rueben Sandwich which was delicious. Try their Turkey Melt. Heard it was excellent too. The salads are excellent. Love the Mango Iced Tea.
Out of town and visiting, go experience a wonderful day of golfing and dining at The Ridge. The Grill is open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
