District 5 Supervisor Bruce Kranz’s requests that $1,000 in general fund “revenue sharing” funds be allocated to the North Lake Tahoe Boys and Girls Club and $500 to the Meadow Vista Community Center have been approved by his board colleagues. The allocations were recommended by Kranz’s District 5 Benefit Fund Committee.

In related business, the board’s majority approved these “revenue sharing” disbursements:

— $1,250 to a golf tournament to benefit the Roseville High School District Scholarship Fund.

— $750 each to the “Peace for Families’ 12th annual fall luncheon and the South Placer UC-Davis Breast Cancer Endowment Fund.

— $500 each to Auburn Chamber of Commerce’s Community Festival; Auburn Placer Performing Art Center’s Bluegrass Fest; the Gathering Inn in Loomis; and the Roseville Crime Stoppers’ chili cook off.

— $350 to the Del Oro High School Band Spectacular.

— $250 each to Loomis Basin Horsemen’s Association; Placer Theater Ballet’s “Nutcracker” presentation; Riding High Equestrian program’s Blue Jean Ball; Placer County Ducks Unlimited; and the Loomis Basin Education Foundation.
