Auburn’s Joanne Neft had a special guest in tow at Depoe Bay the other day — Nick Coombe, manufacturing manager of the Honey Collection in New Zealand, which produces honey-based Manuka Naturals healing skin creams. The pair celebrated the FDA’s recent approval of Active Manuka Honey for the treatment of wounds and burns. Neft, Manuka Naturals’ distributor, said the products are available at Auburn Drug Company, Eisley’s Nursery, Lincoln Produce Market, Newcastle Produce & Deli and Auburn Nutrition Center.
