In 1979, Marvin Cooper opened Auburn Honda together with his son Jay. Mr. Cooper was not new to the automotive industry with experience dating back to just after WWII, and the dealership quickly became successful. Jay Cooper worked alongside his father for many years until his retirement in 1996. Since then, the dealership has only continued to grow, and in 2004, we moved just down the street into this brand-new state-of-the-art facility. Recently, Jay’s daughter, Kammie Cooper, became an employee of Auburn Honda and is working to carry on the tradition.
