Placer’s low-cost flu clinics are scheduled

A drive-through flu shot clinic will be held next Tuesday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. Attendees should use the Fairgate Street entrance off Auburn-Folsom Road.



The cost of the immunizations is $10 each, but there will be no charge to Medicare patients who show their Medicare cards and who are not enrolled in an HMO plan.

Additional clinics, all sponsored by the Placer County Health and Human Services Department, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on these dates:

October 30, Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall; November 6, Foresthill Veterans Memorial Hall; November 8, Sierra Vista Community Center in Colfax; November 14, Rocklin Sunset Community Center; November 20, Lincoln Veterans Memorial Hall; November 28, Multipurpose Senior Center at DeWitt Center in North Auburn.
