Summary

Purpose-driven, servant-minded, and fun-loving are just the beginnings of a description for our "little church by the fairgrounds". Bethlehem Lutherans welcome you to worship on Saturday evenings (5pm) in a casual, informal way; Sundays (8:30am and, soon, 10:30am); and Sunday evenings (7pm) in a post-modern format of progressive music and scriptural lesson.

We love a good potluck, doing stuff for missions overseas, meeting midweek to discuss why the world and us mortals in it do the crazy things we do -- and analyze it six ways to Sunday -- yet always strive to embrace each other in the beauty of God's endless love. As the song says, "Grace is enough for me." We are also active in the Gathering Inn program for serving Placer County's homeless. This monthly task typifies what churches can and should be doing in their communities, providing a warm meal and shelter to our fellow citizens. Lastly, we have a new guy in the pulpit -- Pr. Bryon Hansen, who hails mostly from the great Northwest, and whom you'll like right away. Come check us out sometime.
