NEWCASTLE NEWS – It’s a family-run business at Newcastle Tacqueria (661 Newcastle Road) thanks to Gary and Sharon Williams, their daughter Patrice and her hubby Mike Metz. They opened in September and report that they’ve been warmly welcomed by the community. The restaurant is also home to Newcastle Preserves, which has been busy making mandarin preserves just in time for the holidays. At last report, they had 200 pounds of the good stuff on hand. Stop by, say hi, and give them all a warm foothills welcome.
