Ex-Planning Commissioner Ollar-Burris fires back at county |
|
Still stung by allegations that she has violated the state’s Subdivision Act, former Placer County Planning Commissioner Michelle Ollar-Burris is firing back with some charges of her own. In a cross-complaint to the county’s civil lawsuit against her, Ollar-Burris sued the county and dozens of its unnamed officials and employees for casting “a cloud of doubt upon (her) activities as a licensed real estate broker and a lawful subdivider of land,” for loss of goodwill connected with her business, and for inverse condemnation.
She was a member of the county planning panel — appointed by
District 5 Supervisor Bruce Kranz — until the board of supervisors
removed her last June and then ordered a $30,000 investigation of her
subdividing activities. In her cross-complaint, Ollar-Burris
charged that the opinions expressed in the investigator’s report “are
factually and legally false, mistaken and incorrect...and not supported
by substantial evidence.” Ollar-Burris is represented by Steven P. Belzer, a Sacramento attorney.
